The program is designed around entry-level workforce preparation and current employer needs, helping participants build a strong foundation for employment in the utility vegetation management industry. Pre-Inspector positions can offer competitive wages, with some entry-level opportunities starting around $35 per hour plus benefits.

Because the training requires full-time participation, some participants may qualify for financial support through the UVM Scholarship Program. Eligibility requirements apply, and funding is not guaranteed.
