The UVM Certificate Program – designed by the UAA and Utility Vegetation Management Association (UVMA) – provides project-based training in six, 12-week courses meant to enhance the understanding and application of the industry’s best practices in safety, integrated vegetation management (IVM), environmental stewardship and sustainability. Participants also gain the knowledge and skills needed to plan and manage sustainable UVM program plans.

Recently, the UWSP has revamped and streamlined the UVM Certificate Program and offers courses three times each year in January, April and September. No degree is required for participation in this program. Those who successfully complete the program will be awarded the UVM Certificate of Completion and will be eligible for the UAA Certified UVM Professional credential.

Currently, the first course of the program – Introduction to UVM – is approved for 120 ISA CEUs. Click here for more information about the program.
